01 / Name one decision coordinator
Choose a coordinator who gathers feedback from the owner, sales and operations, then provides one agreed decision. Several people can contribute without leaving the development team to resolve contradictory business rules. Identify the final acceptance owner before design begins.
02 / Prepare content you can actually publish
Organize logos, permitted photography, service descriptions, rates and policies. Do not send a full customer database just to explain an example screen. For migration, start with a de-identified sample, agree field mapping and then arrange the appropriate method for the actual transfer.
03 / Review real tasks, not just page colours
Ask actual staff to create a request, change status, locate a record and edit information they are allowed to change. Record the expected and observed result. Distinguish a defect in agreed behavior from a new feature request, so both can be planned and accepted clearly.
04 / Hand over with an operating plan
Before launch, review domain ownership, account administration, backup arrangements, issue reporting and who checks new enquiries. Assign ongoing responsibility for prices and policies. Handover should include everyday operating steps, not merely a login URL. Monthly care starts after acceptance under the agreed proposal.
