Availability should reflect real operations

Confirmed reservations, vehicles on hire and maintenance blocks all affect what you can sell. We define meaningful states and their effect on capacity. Extending a rental must check the next reservation before saving. A calendar is a view of those rules, not a substitute for them.

A clear handover and return process

Agree the handover information, return location and process for escalating an exception. Staff practise on sample records before activation so they know when to change status and who may do it. Condition photographs, signed agreements and identity-document collection are separately scoped features, not implied by a checkout button.

Give each role the view it needs

Front-desk staff, managers and referral partners do not need identical access. We map read and edit permissions to responsibilities and test cross-account isolation. ZEISMO’s own partner portal, for example, exposes referral stages without exposing client email or private conversations. Merchant staff permissions are agreed for the delivered project.

Migrate with a reconciliation plan

Start with a clean inventory file, explicit columns and stable identifiers. Import a sample, reconcile counts and rates with the source, and review exceptions before a live migration. Clean import is a separate scoped service. Duplicate records, incomplete history and legacy-system integrations need their own assessment.
